Australia Customs Policies

). Australia Customs' [2015 Duty-Free Regulations] are still valid. Goods under 1000 AUD (CIF price, meaning the total of 'goods value, shipping, and insurance') can be exempt from GST, import duties, and the 118 AUD customs system fee; (for goods over 10,000 AUD, the customs system fee is 220 AUD per shipment).

). Things to know about applying for a GST refund in Australia: For business imports (imported under a company name), you need to provide an ABN (Australia Business Number) 11-digit tax number before importing to Australia. If you don't have an ABN, you can contact TNK customer service to apply for one. The recipient can apply to the Australian government for a company income tax offset or a GST refund on a monthly, quarterly, or yearly basis.

). Regarding the tariff exemption policy, since 2016, the customs clearance model under the China-Australia Free Trade Agreement has been officially implemented. About 90% of goods can enjoy zero tariffs or half tariffs (the sender and recipient must be companies, the number of product names must not exceed 5, and HS codes need to be provided). If you don't have China-Australia customs clearance documents, our company can handle it.

). Food imports into Australia require a food import permit. 【Note】Foods containing nuts, meat, eggs, or dairy need a valid Biosecurity Import Permit issued by the Australian Department of Agriculture, Fisheries and Forestry. Medical devices need ARTG compliance/registration and TGA import approval. Imported furniture with solid wood components must be fumigated and have a Fumigation Certificate to clear customs smoothly. Our company can handle full-container fumigation on your behalf.

). Australia's anti-dumping products for 2026 include: 2,4-Dichlorophenoxyacetic acid (2,4-D), aluminum alloy doors and windows/aluminum extrusions, aluminum-zinc coated steel, hot-rolled coil, steel corner strips and angles, light steel studs and tracks, hollow structural sections, precision tubes, PVC flat cables, and more.
